A windy day! 

Happy Spring!!!!

It's been awhile since we've posted new pics since we've been very busy! Kurt's brother-in-law and sister, Buck and Kris, and their four kids spent Easter weekend with us. We had a lot of fun and braved some cold and rather unpleasant weather, but it was worth it! Shortly after Kurt's family headed home, my mom came to visit for a week, in the middle of which Kurt was on an intern trip up in Boston. It's always great to see my mom, but I was especially greatful that she was here since I was struck with an aweful 24 hour stomach bug! It was fast and furious, and we were at the mall the next afternoon (though I was operating a bit slowly). All in all, we're doing well and enjoying some beautiful spring weather. We've been so blessed by Kurt's internship at CHBC and look forward to full-time ministry someday. We thank the Lord for all of our friends and family, and pray that you would experience a greater sense of His presence in your life, and that you would grow in greater love and knowledge of Him!

We couldn't resist the opportunity to see Giada de Lorentiis of Everyday Italian on Food TV! She made an appearance at a local bookstore :-) I don't think Maddie was as excited as I was.

Yes folks, that is the very helicopter on which President George W. Bush was just riding. We saw his entourage of helicopters approaching and made a mad dash back to the Whitehouse, but they temporarily blocked the walkways. I'm sure enforcement had their eyes on the two crazy ladies running through the grass with a stroller covered with a blanket.
