Getting Caught Up...

It feels good to get caught up with new postings of our life these days (mainly Madeline). Life has been busy, as usual, but so good as we learn to walk in obedience and trust in our Heavenly Father. Kurt is just about ready to wrap up his stint as an intern and transition into a full-time staff position as Pastoral Assisstant at our church. This experience has served him well to really see what the life of a pastor is like, and what it means to shepherd a healthy church. We feel more confident than ever that God is directing us into full-time ministry after seminary. We are also getting ready to move into a new residence that belongs to the church. It sits right on the church block, and we are even one block closer to the Capitol than we are now! If you think of it, be praying for us the next few weeks as we sort, pack, move down the street, sort and unpack again. Thankfully, Maddie is a rather calm baby, so we pray this move won't be too bad! However, before we move, we still have visitors coming through, so I'll be sure to post more pics in a week or two.

Blessings,
Jayna

Here is my little jail bird, again Posted by Hello

Will you please get me out of here!? Posted by Hello

How lucky were we that Karen and Mike M. just happened to stroll by! (even though both Karen and I should have technically been packing for our big moves). Karen was kind enough to take a pic of Maddie and Mommy. Posted by Hello

Dear Dad, we should get a duck...... Posted by Hello

Here we have Mr. and Mrs. Duck who so badly wanted in on our photo shoot (or maybe we were infringing on their territory?) Posted by Hello

Here is Maddie with our friend, Jennilee at Field Day for ICS. We had a lovely visit with you, thanks Jennilee! Posted by Hello

Here is a perfiect example of how Maddie focuses in on anything remotely like hair or fringe. She's got a blade of grass clutched in her pinchers, and the poor thing doesn't have a chance. In a few seconds, this blade of grass was headed for her mouth. Posted by Hello

Just another cute picture.... Posted by Hello

See how Maddie can clap? Posted by Hello

Kyla and Maddie had a blast at the Guppy Gala at the Zoo. Thanks, Tara Beth, for inviting us! We had a marvelous time. However, what I am I supposed to do with this sudden craving for cotton candy? Posted by Hello

Kyla was singing opera for us :-) Posted by Hello

Bethan and Katie Rose modeled their freshly painted faces at the Guppy Gala! Posted by Hello

Happy Mother's Day! This was a wonderful day for me, to celebrate my very first Mother's day with my sweet girl. Kurt helped her write a sweet note to me, and they took me shopping for my gift on Saturday! She is such a gift from God, and I thank Him for her everyday, and continually pray that she would know Him as her Saviour! Posted by Hello

I am a proud mama! Posted by Hello

Maddie is sitting up quite well on her own now, though she doesn't know how to get out of that position, yet. Posted by Hello

Here I am with two of my good friends, Tracy (left), and Erica (right). We were celebrating Patrick's (Erica's boy) first birthday! Posted by Hello
