Home again, home again....

We are now settled in to our new residence and back online, thank goodness! The following pictures will show you about our travels around the Northwest and many of the beautiful sights we saw. There are so many to share that I've only posted pics from our big camping trip up in the mountains near Bend, OR. I'll let those sit for awhile before adding new ones. Enjoy!

P.S. I don't think all of the posts I added fit onto this first page. There are a few more pics to see near the bottom of the screen in "July Archives". Check them out if you get a chance!

Here is one of the things I miss the most, a good old campfire! Posted by Picasa

Kurt put on those girly sunglasses and suddenly became someone else Posted by Picasa

Sorry you have to look sideways for this one, but I couldn't resist sharing my catch for the trip! Posted by Picasa

She may look sweet, but never trust a Aunt Liz with an axe! :-) Posted by Picasa

Maddie is never more content than with a napkin to rip up. I'm deciding not to read anything into that fetish. Posted by Picasa

Father-in-law and Son-in-law proud of their catch. Posted by Picasa

I was loving the beautiful scenery.... Posted by Picasa

...and so was Kurt Posted by Picasa

Finally, just the two of us! Posted by Picasa

Ahh, I do miss the great Northwest Posted by Picasa

This pic documents Maddie's first ride in a boat. She may look a bit stunned, but she really loved every minute! Posted by Picasa

Wes and Michael gearing up for the ride of Michael's life! Posted by Picasa

Matthew had a love/hate relationship with the lake. It was so cold, yet so enticing Posted by Picasa

Mark strangely seems like a Dr. Seuss character here, doesn't he? Posted by Picasa

Here is Papa in a teachable moment with Mark Posted by Picasa

Maddie and her Grammy :-) Posted by Picasa

What is it about throwing rocks and boulders into the water that is so satisfying? Posted by Picasa

Here I am thinking, "What am I doing?!!!!" Posted by Picasa

Shawna and I survived tubing on Cultus Lake! However, my back has been complaining ever since. Posted by Picasa

This was a complete rainbow circle around the sun! Posted by Picasa

Here is my honey! What a catch! Posted by Picasa

Here is Wes with his catch of the day Posted by Picasa

Kurt truly bonded with the fam. My brother, Wes, is to the left with Uncle Bob in the back.  Posted by Picasa

Here we have Uncle Bob and Aunt Pam. Pam is a dream come true for Uncle Bob. She genuinely likes to hunt and fish! Posted by Picasa

Uncle Bob and Aunt Pam are newlyweds. Ughhhh! Posted by Picasa

This was taken right before we left the campground. We made some wonderful memories! Posted by Picasa

Kurt and Dad with some other volcanic mountain that I can't remember the name of. We have plenty of those in Oregon Posted by Picasa

Mount Batchelor stands behind us. That is where I first learned to ski when I was 12. Posted by Picasa

This is Uncle Doug and Aunt Liz's beautiful backyard. Michael and Matthew are down in the middle somewhere. You can imagine that this place is a child's dream come true. Posted by Picasa

Happy Fourth of July! Posted by Picasa
