Life is sweet with Maddie, Jack, and Charlotte Rose....

This was a momentous day in our family. Madeline suddenly took her first steps. As shown in the diagram above, she tottered from point A to point B, approximately 3 steps! Note: The pillows stuffed in the corner are how we keep Maddie safe from slamming her head into the side table. Posted by Picasa

How's this, Dad? Would you like your head massage harder? Lighter? And what about that receding hairline? Posted by Picasa

Maddie seems to be into hats at an early age. She loves wearing my Old Navy hat around the house. But it has to be worn backwards.  Posted by Picasa

It brings me (Jayna) joy to see Madeline exploring her girly, feminine side. In this pic, she enjoys wearing my headband. I would like to think she's pretending to be a princess. Posted by Picasa

Girly Madeline. She wears this toy ring as a 'bracelet' around the house. Posted by Picasa

Puppy Dog Phase, Exhibit A. Yes folks, our daughter remains rather oral, though she doesn't seem to eat carpet lint anymore. In Exhibit A, Maddie enjoys stuffing a whole golf ball in her mouth. It was promptly removed after this pic was taken.  Posted by Picasa

Were you tired of finding only Kurt and Jayna on the front page of our site for so long? We enjoyed the spotlight while it lasted. To make up for it, it's all about Madeline today. Enjoy! Posted by Picasa

When Madeline was born, we received a lovely gift from friends, Mike and Paula. Paula lovingly hand-made two outfits and Maddie wanted to model them for you. Thank you Mike & Paula, we sure do miss you!!!! Posted by Picasa

So what happens when Mom leaves Maddie with Dad for a few hours? A big, deep scratch on her nose! Kurt doesn't know what happened since she didn't cry or fuss. We're sure she has a high pain tolerance. Posted by Picasa

Maddie doesn't seem to mind the band-aid.... Posted by Picasa

This is part of Maddie's puppy dog phase. She finds an object she likes and carries it around in her mouth Posted by Picasa
