It's Christmas morning, and Santa left a present unopened for Madeline under the tree. She loves her new dolly! Posted by Picasa

A pic for the ages. Papa loved reading the gradkids a Christmas story on Christmas Eve. Posted by Picasa

On Christmas Eve we let the kids open one present of the parents' choosing. Of course they were PJs! The kids ripped into them with such excitement and gusto, but the joy wasn't long lasting. These poor pajamas are facing the sad reality that they weren't at the top of the list for what kids want for Christmas. Posted by Picasa

Michael is the coolest now that he's reached the ripe age of 7 Posted by Picasa

Here I (Jayna) am with some of my favorite ladies, my small group that meets on Monday nights. We had a wild Christmas party. Who knew Outburst: The Bible Version could get so out-of-control? Posted by Picasa

In Mid-December, our dear friends, Brad, Erin and their kids paid us a special visit from Kentucky. What a wonderful time we had catching up. We were very encouraged and Madeline loved playing with Paige and Maggie! Posted by Picasa

This was the Charlie Brown Christmas Cookie Posted by Picasa

Kurt and I have started a new tradition of making sugar cookies for the holidays. Don't those look good enough to eat? Posted by Picasa

Here Madeline is watching A Charlie Brown Christmas for the very first time. I hope it's a tradition for years to come! Posted by Picasa

This was our dessert near the end of our tea. This was quite possibly the best tiramasu I've ever had Posted by Picasa

I had the privilege of attending a special tea with my mom, sister-in-law, cousins, and Grandma Linda. I love my family and had such a wonderful time. We made some good memories and drank gallons of tea! Posted by Picasa

Dog pile on Uncle Kurt! Posted by Picasa

Our version of a competitive card game, Schmuck (or King and Schmuck) in one way brought us together, and in another, tore us apart. There is truly the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat in this game. Dad, as you can see, enjoys the thrill of victory.... Posted by Picasa

I might have to sell this pic to Wes & Shawna for blackmail, should they need it. Did anyone call the fashion police on Mark? Posted by Picasa

Wes, Loren and Kurt talkin' football on New Year's Day. Matthew didn't get the memo to wear a black shirt.... Posted by Picasa

Maddie is quite industrious. The simple shoe can entertain her for hours. Posted by Picasa
