The Glitch is Fixed!
We haven't posted the past week because there was a glitch with our blogger account. However, the problem seems to be fixed. There will be more pics to come!
A New Low?
Have we sunk to a new low? On our first Monday alone with the kids after Mom left, we decided to be brave a go to Bob Evans for breakfast, and into Annapolis for a stroll. Our portable DVD player was a life saver at Bob Evans as Madeline hasn't been too 'restaurant friendly' lately. We were a bit nervous about public opinion, but at least two elderly folks think our portable DVD player is the greatest thing since sliced bread!

JD is 2 Weeks Old!
Well, we are out of the initial shock that comes with bringing a newborn into one's home. The past two weeks have flown, except for those 4 am feedings. Those can't pass by quickly enough! Jackson has been a joy, though. He's very sweet and laid back which has been a blessing.
He went in for his two week check-up and passed with flying colors. He weighed in at 9 lbs. and measures 21.5 in.! This was a shock to Jayna since he's been quite a 'sleepy' eater.
Jayna's Mom has been with us since Jackson was born, and has been an amazing help. Thank you, Mom, for serving us so well! She flies back to Oregon tomorrow morning, and we will miss her!
Jayna's sister-in-law, Shawna, was also with us Sept. 21-26. She was also a wonderful help in our home and Madeline had so much fun. We have been spoiled! Thank you, Shawna, for all you've done for us!
So now it's just 'us'. Kurt will take this week off from work and we get to see how we'll fare on our own. This will be a good transition for Jayna as she is slowly 'weaned' from all the wonderful help we've had!
