We have such kind neighbors!

We were blown away by the generosity of our neighbors on Christmas day! Throughout the day we regularly were visited by a neighbor bearing gifts. We thank God for the blessing they have been to us in our new neighborhood. This pic was taken when Talia came by :-)

Now that Jackson is 3 months old, we thought is was time for a quick family pic. Actually, Jayna's parents needed our family pic pronto for their Christmas letter, so thanks to technology, we were able to do it in a jiffy! This was taken at the end of a VERY long (but great) Sunday. Madeline was wet through, so she is sitting on a towel on Kurt's lap. And Jackson was on the verge of a melt down for hunger, so he wasn't quite a happy camper! We took one pic with the timer, but the batteries died and weren't able to give it another try. But we rather like this pic for the memory we made!

Catching Up: Thanksgiving '06

We thought it might be nice to catch up on some nice family pics before we jump into Christmas (only 10 days away!) Jayna's parents joined us on our turf for our very first time to host Thanksgiving! Jayna was especially glad to have Mom walk her through the process. But our hard work paid off! We had a wonderful time and were glad to bring the Woods in on the celebration. In fact, they had such a nice time, Brandon and Liz decided to move in to our basement until May when they head back to Texas for Med School and Liz's residency! Yes, they are now part of the family and we've enjoyed having them with us. Madeline is especially happy to have "Aunt Giz" and "Buncle Brandon" around more regularly.
