Happy 1st Birthday, Jack-Jack!

Before we get buried with moving details/mess, we need to get caught up and post pics from Jackson Dean's first birthday back in September!

Before we move on, here's a bit about JD:

• He loves to smile
• He's very curious
• Unearthing folded laundry seems to be one of his favorite pastimes
• His first word was 'ball', and he can even play catch in his own special way
• He can stand and climb stairs
• I think he's pretty much cutting a full mouth of teeth at once.
• His muscles are huge, just like his dad's
• We praise God for his life and the joy he brings!

One day I heard Madeline yelling from the living room, "I'm riding my horsey! Go horsey! Go!" I looked in to see her pretending to ride horseback on the arm of the couch, wearing her 'cowgirl' hat. Weird thing is that I remember doing the same thing as a little girl, and I know I haven't taught Maddie this trick. It must something we're born with!

Our dear friends, Dave, Ellen, and Baby Elizabeth stayed with us overnight on Friday when they came back to DC to retrieve their worldly possessions from storage in order to settle into their new digs in South Carolina. We thank God for their friendship & fellowship and miss them very much! We're pretty sure God wants to bring them to Louisville....
