Well, our long journey from DC to KY (via OH) has ended, and we are gearing up to embark another one of a more spiritual nature! We arrived to the 'Ville on Friday, Nov. 2 safe and (somewhat) sound, and unloaded our U-Pack.com trailer on Saturday, with fantastic help from friends at 3rd, among others. We have been warmly welcomed and so blessed by the generosity of our brothers and sisters in Christ between loading up in DC to settling in here in Louisville!
On another note, Jayna received word that her Grandpa Mitchell passed away on Sunday morning, Nov. 4 in Springfield, MO. He was a faithful Christian, and lived a long life. He was living in an assisted care situation, and we are so thankful he didn't have to be placed in a nursing home. However, we live in a fallen world, and there is still a sting in death this side of heaven. So, there is still sadness as we process everything, especially for Jayna. Please pray for Jayna's family as they prepare for the funeral on Saturday in Missouri. Unfortunately, we won't be able to attend given the need to settle in here before Kurt starts full-time on Monday.
