Madeline is FIVE years old!

We've had some major events to catch up on in the Heath household, but we would be remiss if we didn't post something about Maddie turning five earlier in this month just 5 days before our new arrival.

Happy Birthday, Maddie.  We love you so much!!!  As you continue to grow, so does our delight in you.  We pray for you daily, and trust God is growing you into a godly young woman.  We love watching you run, dance, and play.  And pretty soon, you'll even be able to read stories to Charlotte and Jack!  You are an outstanding young lady and a precious gift to our family.

Madeline's Fifth Birthday Cake

I was 40 weeks pregnant on Madeline's birthday.  I asked Maddie what kind of cake she wanted for her birthday this year.  You can imagine my relief when she wanted a chocolate cake with purple polka dots.  Though it's not one of my better creations, I made good on her wish with much help from Grammy Snyder.
